Equilibrium Africa stands in awe at a society overflowing with initiatives and individuals who are seeking ways to effect positive change both in their community and environment.  We believe that encouraging partnerships across and within sectors, whilst adopting African best practice can make a substantive contribution to poverty alleviation.

Equilibrium Africa aims to bridge the gap between those desiring to affect change and where it’s most needed, by offering a collaborative platform from which to mobilise efforts in an integrated, trans-disciplinary fashion. We endeavour to facilitate the 3rd Dinokeng Scenario: Walk Together in order to solidify and consolidate 2010's future legacy.

In evolution to aid, we promote solutions such as impact investing aimed at solving social or environmental challenges while generating financial profit. Our mandate is to simultaneously protect the interests of investors, as well as the communities who stand to benefit.

Equilibrium Africa’s implementation strategies strive to encourage fiscal growth through challenging market leaders in stretching their boundaries to uncover the largely untapped human resources in Africa. In partnership with the Unified Field Bank, our commitment is to re-purpose banking through triggering its potential for accelerating global change.

The model is designed to safely guide investor interests beyond future uncertainties in a sustainable manner. Whilst keeping in line with financial, social, environmental and cultural practices, UFB Africa’s transparent banking system leverages creative community resources toward the fundamental goal of socio-economic and environmental regeneration.

In association with partners, The Coalition for a Sustainable Africa, Tree Media and selected local representitives, Equilibrium Africa is initiating a cross-continental collaboration aimed at raising awareness in broadcast media, using the medium as a bridge engineered to translate existing language barriers between NGO, government, academic and corporate sectors. The message speaks to responsible natural resource management and adaptation with a core focus on grassroots participation in support of building resilient communities.
