Juanique Pretorius
Prior to founding Equilibrium Africa, Juanique spent several years strategically growing a network of pioneers in socio-economic development among key leaders in public, private and civil society sectors. With time, these networks expanded to the USA.  Her past decade of research has focused primarily on monitoring the shift in global economic trends, as they transition from Industrial to Information Era commodities.  As a result of her backround in Journalism, a pivotal component thereof incorporates the role of the Media, in the wake of its enormous responsibility to the well-being of society. Juanique is currently driving the company's first developmental stage venture subsidiary; a software prototype with interface, designed to maximise impact investment between donors and beneficiaries. She is also a Co-Director of Developing Empowerment and Economic Prosperity in South Africa.

Josh Silvey
Josh's expertise lie in the areas of Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Astronomy, and Web Design. His goal is to successfully integrate technology into learning environments in meaningful ways. Josh believes that the application of  technology in higher learning is important because it provides effective methods of understanding our world - and therefore ourselves. The inspiration for this work leads back to his undergraduate studies in Physics and Astronomy where he learned to identify and solve complex, real world problems by applying theory, practical knowledge, scientific reasoning, and technology. Josh is currently doing postgraduate studies in Instructional Technology and Web design at the Appalachian State University, North Carolina. He is Co-Founder of Equilibrium Africa, and advisor to the development of the software prototype.

Stephan McGuire

Stephan has been a Producer with Tree Media Group for the past 11 years.  In 2006 he was Associate Producer of the award winning documentary The 11th Hour, narrated and produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, whilst co-directing its companion 11th Hour Action campaign through 2008. Stephan produced Woody Harrelson's Voice Yourself from 2003-2005, as well as web portals for Global Green USA, the Official 2000 Presidential Campaign Library for the Council on Foreign Relations, as well as for California's Heal the Bay. He is President and Founder of CSAFRICA, an international coalition, of non-profit organizations offering sustainable solutions for grass-roots initiatives to empower the people and communities throughout Africa. In association with Equilibrium Africa, Stephan is also Founder and Director of Developing Empowerment and Economic Prosperity (DEEP).

Brad La Force
General Partner and Business Development Consultant for La Force LP based in New York. Bradley manages a team who provides over a hundred small business owners with marketing strategies, outsourcing tactics, data collection and analysis, education, communication processes, and live event management for measurable revenue growth and loss mitigation. Bradley helped found La Force LP in 2003 when he developed a marketing and communication education program specifically designed for small and medium sized business. Bradley honed his specialized knowledge and experience when he moved on to private taxation and audit representation firm Conley Wilson & Ballou, specializing in individual and estates of high net-worth clients. Brad serves as CEO for Developing Empowerment and Economic Prosperity (DEEP).

Mokena Makeka
Mokena Makeka is principal and founder of Makeka Design Lab. His highlight was being selected among 100 architects globally by Hertzog and de Meuron to be a part of the Ordos 100. He is a two-time recipient of the CIA Award of Merit and a 2010 nominee for the Johnnie Walker Celebrating Strides Awards in Design. He sits on the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council for Design, is an external examiner at the Columbia University School of architecture and lectures at the University of Cape Town. Makeka’s vision is to create a sound African aesthetic that serves the public and client, bringing dignity and grace to the built environment. Mokena is Co-Director of Developing Empowerment and Economic Prosperity in South Africa (DEEP SA).

Scholastica Sylvan Kimyaro

Founder & CEO, Maadili Consulting & Lifestyle Coaching, Scholastica was  the UNDP’s Deputy Regional Director for Africa, responsible for 22 Countries in East & Southern Africa. She served also as UNDP Resident Representative & Coordinator of the United Nations System in Lesotho and South Africa. Prior to this, Scholastica was UNICEF's Representative to South Africa & Liberia. At the beginning of her career she worked as a print Journalist & Columnist, during which time she also served as the Secretary-General of the Tanzania Journalists Association (TAJA). Scholastica holds, among others, an MSc in Social Policy, Planning & Participation in Developing Countries from the London School of Economics & Political Science as well as International Certification as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Coach & Primordial Sound Meditation Instructor from the Chopra Centre University in California. She is a Co-Director of Developing Empowerment and Economic Prosperity in South Africa (DEEP SA)

Joerg Nawrocki
Joerg’s entrepreneurial ventures began in 1989 with the founding of Netzband & Partner (Advertising, Media) in his hometown, Berlin.  Locally he started N&N Pro-ject development CC  (property consultation for foreign investors) TITTOS (Pty) Ltd an IT portal and Comby CC.  Upon joining CCI Creative Consciousness International (Coaching academy) in 2006, he developed a passion for speaker representation which lead to market research around setting up The London Speaker Bureau Africa, designed to broker international key note speakers and experts to train and educate South African leaders as well as export local talent. To this end, Joerg founded the African Speaker's Bureau housed under Equilibrium Africa's umbrella. In addition, he is developing a Broad Based Leadership Development (BBLD) concept, designed to address issues around engineering sustainable leadership, management and providing a platform from which to inform and inspire the pioneering leaders of tomorrow.

Yumnaa Firfirey

Managing Director: towards uhuru consulting.Yumnaa's consultancy is forming a Corporate Social Investment (CSI) Think Tank with like-minded actors whose interests lie in gaining a deeper understanding of Corporate Citizenship and CSI. She is currently doing her MPhil at the UCT Graduate School of Business in corporate social investment streamlining. Yumnaa served as interim CEO at the Western Cape Provincial Development Council (PDC) and Director of the Tourism Growth at Department of Economic Development and Tourism. She was one of the founding members of the Responsible Tourism in Destinations Conference in Cape Town, 2002.  At the Department Economic Development and Tourism Under Yumnaa’s leadership, a Tourism Business Forum (TBF) was formed amongst strategic partners in the Western Cape tourism industry. Yumnaa was project Manager at IMSA Environmental Consultancy, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Yumnaa is a Project Partner.

Camaren Peter

Camaren attained his PhD at the University of Cape Town's (UCT) Graduate School of Business in Bayesian Participatory-Based Decision Analysis, a study which deals primarily with Evolutionary, Adaptive Formalism for Integrated Analysis of Complex Challenges to Social-Ecological Systems Sustainability. Camaren did his M. Sc. in astrophysics at UCT and B. Sc. in Physics at the University of Natal, Durban. Prior to being at Ndibano, an organisation specialising in artificial intelligence, Camaren spent a decade at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) where he in worked in Coastal and Marine Ecosystems, Emerging Research Area for Sustainability Science and the Defence Simulations Technology Development. He is currently dedicating his time to establishing an Institute with a strong focus on trans-disciplinarity. Camaren Advisor and joint venture partner and advisor to the development of the software prototype.
 

Muhammed Yunus
